Are you a native Texan?

Yes. I was born in Garland and grew up in Oak Cliff (Dallas), Garland, and Mesquite.

Can you talk about your education and experience?

I was the rare child who loved going to the dentist! I also truly enjoy caring for people. So becoming a dental hygienist was an obvious choice. I graduated from the Baylor School of Dental Hygiene, Dallas in 1991 and have been caring for patients at Love 2 Smile Dental ever since. A lot of my patients grew up around me and now it’s a great joy to care for their young children.

What do you like most about working at Love 2 Smile Dental?

In one word – Dr. Divya. I love the fun, upbeat, but busy vibe in the office. I also love the open communication environment built on the foundation of honesty.

What is the first concert you attended?

As a 4th grader, I saw “Peter and the Wolf” at the Dallas Symphony, and to this day that concert is etched in my memory.

What is your favorite film?

Usual Suspects – I have it on DVD and can watch it over and over again.

What do you like to do outside work?

I love to cook and bake. Now that I am an empty-nester, I am trying to discover new passions. I recently turned vegetarian as way to get healthier.
